Welcome to Sunwood Lane! My name is Jeanette, and I am an O.C. girl at heart.  In fact, I was born and raised here in sunny Southern California, and have dreams of living on a farm someday.

I started gardening when I was an early teen. I would often spend an entire Saturday in the backyard with my hands (and often my face) full of dirt!  I mainly focused on floral and succulent arrangements. I suppose it was my creative outlet, and maybe a bit ahead of my time. I loved rearranging succulents, there was something so beautify seeing them so nicely nestled in the soil.  My mom & I had a signature "bow" as we would call it, in which we would add a ceramic bird to the pots & it was always the perfect final touch. 

Water is food for my soul, the sound of it, the feel of it, the sight of it - anything to do with water, I'm all in.  So, I would often get lost in meditation as I would water all of my plants with ease and care.

Fast forward to June of 2018, when my husband and I purchased our first home. The thing that sold us on this home was the yard! My eyes were set on the potential of having our very own vegetable garden. We spent the next year or so getting situated in our new home, and in September of 2019 - we put in our first 3 raised garden beds! I don't think it was less than two minutes after planting the very last seed, that I wanted MORE! More garden beds, more room to grow, and more vegetables to plant!

That's when we introduced beds 4, 5, and 6... Then bed #7!  Gardening quickly turned from weekend hobby, to my passion & desire to each others!

Fast forward to September 2023, and my dream business was born.
